Plein Air
February 16, 2011
It was a week-end of good time spent outdoors. Little walk with many pretty butterflies along the way. A lunch enjoyed at the top of the hill with beautiful view of Porirua harbour on one side and Wellington on the other. The nice feeling of being part of such a nice place... Fruit and vegetable picking at the orchard. Big red onions, luscious tomatoes, cute strawberries and peppers, a lot of peppers, mild and hot. And the old but excellent movie, Baraka, so relevant -even if watched indoor...

Breathtaking, indeed. You live in Paradise… Thank you so much for sharing! Teresa
- Zapxpxau, I will be delighted to see your homegrown vegetables while i’ll be in the middle of winter here… Shaz, thank you. I’m just looking forward the next one ;) Plume d’argent, merci. Je comprends ton envie de printemps. Il ne devrait plus tarder à présent… Teresa, thank you !* Vanille
Breathtaking photographs as always! and I feel like walking through those grasses and racing with the breeze:-) Beautiful Beautiful fresh produce. Soma
*Maybe where you live the colors are simply brighter. I think that’s possible (especially since we live in a town of mostly brown). The orchard you visited – it has apples, berries, tomatoes, eggplant, and I’m guessing more, all to pick on your own? Brilliant! The most I’ve ever seen was a mix of peas and strawberries in the Summer, or pumpkins and apples in Autumn. There is goodness all around you, in ever way possible! Cheers, *Heather** heather
Gorgeous tomatoes. Barbara

Heather, yes we are spoilt! The eggplants and apples were not pick your own yet though; but soon ! Soma, thank you so much ! Barbara, those tomatoes just make you want to bite in directly ! Laura [Hungry and Frozen] ;) Sylvie, and the best is that it’s so accessible !
Vanille
