Sneak Peek

KiaOraDiptych6

Just because I’m too impatient to wait until the completion and because you never know what can happen on the way, I want to share with you the piece I’m working on…

I plan to hang up the piece on the wall, in front of the entrance door, as a welcome message.

In case you are wondering, the final piece will read Kia Ora with each letter decorated with Maori-inspired patterns.

To be continued...

*so talented! if that’s only a snippet, i can only imagine what the finished product will look like! what’s the literal translation of ‘kia ora’? cheers, *heather** heather

Exquisite! It looks time-consuming and complicated to make, but OH, SO WORTH IT! Can’t wait to see the final piece! Pippa

Thank you for your response girls ! Heather, “Kia Ora” is a Maori greeting. It means “be well” and it’s used to say “hello”. Pippa, I’m just half on the way. I find papercuting quite relaxing in fact… Vanille

Miss B

Tu fais ça au cutter? Ca a l’air magnifique. It makes me miss New Zealand even more. Hilda

Miss B, merci et bienvenue ! Hilda, merci. Vanille
