Kia Ora, Welcome, Bienvenue !
Here you are on this personal blog of mine.
Started after a life changing move from Paris to New Zealand, the blog primarily was a way to document life in this part of the world and has slowly morphed into a creative outlet. It now mixes what I like to do and what inspires me.
I currently live in Wellington with my Hungarian husband, also know as Paprika.

Vanille.

There is nothing that makes people so generous, joyful, lively, bold and compassionate, so indifferent to fighting and accumulation of objects and money. Because the best way to know the Truth or Beauty is to try to express it. And what is the purpose of existence Here or Yonder but to discover truth and beauty and express it, share it with others.

Kia Ora – great to find another kiwi blogger. I also love feijoas too!
Nice NZ site, fellow kiwi blogger http://www.sweetcuisine.blogspot.com
Your photos are beautiful!!
What a great image. Like most great images, it’s the idea behind the image that makes it.
Is your name truly Vanille? I love your name!!
Beautiful work I must say..
New Zealand, Lovely. My fiance and I are considering moving there. I here it is absolutely one of the best places to live. Take Care and Blessings.
I wanted to take a moment and tell you how beautiful this site is. If breathtaking was your goal, you have achieved it tenfold.
Thank you for adding beauty to the world.
Great Blog, Wonderful photographs, I look forward to reading more of your posts.
Bonjour Vanille!
I found your blog through expat-blog.com tonight. It is so lovely! I’m learning French now at Alliance Francaise, still in Beginners but absolutely love it and want to go back to visit France again for the second time, hopefully soon.
Bonne journee!
Hé!
Je t’ai trouvé dans le site de Whisk Kid, et je veux dire que j’aime beaucoup tes photos. Je suis en train d’apprendre le français, ou, m’immerser plus dans le français (Je suis en immersion français à l’école.)
Peux-tu visiter mon site, 5foot2baking.wordpress.com et me dis tes pensées? Merci beaucoup!
Great quotation at the bottom! Is that from her book “If You Want to Write?”
Kia ora! I’m a Kiwi girl lving in Austria ^_^ Miss home though, perhaps you do too? Lovely site, look forward to reading more.
Oops! I signed in for that last comment from my “Making silly faces” blog which mightn’t make the best impression *^_^* This comment will have the link to my food blog.
Hello! I found your blog through Nordljus. You have a very lovely space here. I saw that you’re in the same expat network groups as I am.
I speak French, but your English is much more impressive than my French. I find it difficult to find French speakers who always would rather
English with me, so I’m not improving my French much… Anyways, I wanted to say hello. I look forward to exploring your blog more! Kaho
salut salut, ton blog est un vrai régal ! A bientôt
QUE SORPRESA FUE TU BLOG!!! QUE ADORABLES Y ARTISTICAS FOTOS ! VOY A DETENERME MUCHO MAS EN CADA PAGINA.- BESOS.- MARIA

What a gorgeous blog. Your photography is amazing.
Have a lovely day!
Bonjour! Found your blog via Hungry and Frozen. Amazing photos! Love ‘em.
OMG… Amazing pictures !! I love your style !
The atmosphere of places you go look so warm, your food looks sooo yummy, and your creativity is so inspirative. The web design is also very nice : white, simple.
Your photos have nice colours, nice lighting, harmonious and various compositions. So much comments to say, your pictures really touched me. – I just added you in my Flickr contacts, my name is Nam.art.
I can see you have really good technique and ideas. I think I will get a lot of inspiration from you, if you don’t mind…
Do you practice photography for a long time ? Do you post-edit your photos ? Or wait to have perfect lightings ? What camera and lens do you use ? Looks like good macro, or 50mm…
I just spend an hour listening to “Cocoon” and reading through your blog, what an evasion time I had ! – Yes, I’m a bit cheesy, soppy, so what…?
)
May I suggest to you one thing: your pictures format is a bit too large. I couldn’t enjoy the whole size on my computer screen and needed to scroll it down a lot. Maybe a little bit smaller pictures could compose the webpage more eye-friendly ?
Wish you all the best in the other side of the world !
Congratulation, your blog is really nice, I love it. I have a blog as well, with hungarian food (not only) if your are intrested. It is in hungarian language but there is the google translator or your husband can help (?) or write me an email if you need something in english
Hi Vanille, you have the most gorgeous blog… I have been going through your archives for days and am so visually inspired. I am an immediate fan
My husband and I are going to Paris next June; do you have any recommendations or resources as far as where to eat? Thank you
