When I photographed these beauties, poking through the deck railing, they reminded me of Pierre de Ronsard sonnets. A distant but good memories from my adolescence… And these flowers aren’t just lovely to look at, their scent is exhilarating as well.

Lorsque j’ai photographié ces petites beautés, qui fleurissent sur la véranda, elles m’ont rappelé les sonnets de Ronsard. Un lointain, mais bon souvenir d’adolescence… Et ces fleurs sont non seulement agréables à regarder, mais leur parfum est enivrant.
Ok, c’est tout pour aujourdhui et le côté girlie. J’espère que vous apprécierez néanmoins !

Where I live Pierre de Ronsard roses bloom everywhere from may till Nov! I miss them so much during this cold winter, thank you for sharing these!

I love roses but, and it is a big but, they are not impressive plants per se in the garden. They are a great cut flower as in your images, just devine and delicate…
