At Down Under

I made this little craft last week-end.
It was more than time to use these colourful paper stripes, usually made for paper quilling and purchased long time ago.

I first started to make these paper beads, not knowing what I’ll do with them afterward.
And finally, things turned out naturally, when I collected this branch in the street.
Sometimes, I feel me like a magpie collecting everything… But that’s not so bad until I find a way to reuse, right ?

Regarding paper quilling, did you see the book cover made by Yulia Brodskaya illustrating Santa’s beard and hat ? Simply amazing !…

J’ai fait ce petit mobile le week-end dernier.
Il était grand temps d’utiliser ces bandes de papier, généralement utilisées pour le paper quilling et achetées depuis un certain temps.

J’ai tout d’abord confectionné ces perles de papier, sans savoir ce que j’allais en faire par la suite.
Et finalement les choses sont venues naturellement quand j’ai ramassé cette branche dans la rue.
Parfois, je me sens comme une pie à collecter un peu tout et n’importe quoi… Mais ce n’est si grave si je trouve un moyen de le recycler, non ?

Concernant le paper quilling, avez-vous vu la couverture du livre faite par Yulia Brodskaya illustrant la barbe et le chapeau du père Noël ? Tout simplement époustouflant !…

Et je voudrais remercier Nicole pour avoir choisi ma photo pour le concours ‘auto-portrait’ qu’elle a organisé. Une bien belle surprise !
